Process monitoring
PeelGuard
PeelGuard is an optical measuring and weighing instrument that detects residual peels and the presence of dark, green or black spots. A potato with any defects is therefore identified.
This machine will ensure optimum monitoring of the peeling process. Once the peeling is complete with the steam peeler and dry brush, this machine will be used for the final stage of peeling.
PeelGuard increases yield of the final product by compensating for changes in peel thickness or peel definition. Using PeelGuard in conjunction with an abrasive peeler can result in peeling results that are tailored to your specific needs and making the most of your potatoes.
WeighGuard

The Kiremko WeighGuard ensures uniform and consistent flavouring. This system consists of combined units: the Loss In Weight system (WeighGuard LIW) and the Weighing belt (WeighGuard WB). This guarantees an even and uniform dosage – even with a fluctuating line capacity.
WeighGuard
The Kiremko WeighGuard is an advanced system that ensures the accurate dosing of salt, dextrose or other flavourings as an addition to your product. The Kiremko WeighGuard prevents over or under-dosing meaning a higher return. The end product is always uniform and consistently flavoured.
KnifeGuard
Kiremko KnifeGuard is an innovative knife identification system specifically designed for the QuadraFlow hydro cutter. As the knife blocks and matching alignment tubes in this system are monitored and maintained each day, valuable process information can be obtained.
Using RFID tags, an internal hydro cutter is programmed to detect whether it has the correct combination of the inlet, knife block, and outlet for the selected size of the cut. KnifeGuard® keeps track of how long the knife block has been working, making it easier to understand how blades have been used in the field.
Consequently, you will be guaranteed the best possible quality of French fries.
