Kiremko Fair Future: Sustainability as a Strategic Pillar

For Kiremko sustainability is a conscious choice, not a trend or a legal requirement. Under the banner of Kiremko Fair Future, we have developed a sustainability program that guides us in innovation, collaboration, human resources and responsible growth. It forms one of the key pillars of our strategy and is inseparably linked to our ambition to make a lasting positive impact.

Leading the way with our ESG strategy

We believe that sustainable business is the foundation of continuity. That is why we go beyond the minimum requirements and market demands. Our ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) strategy helps us – and our customers – to gain insight into the impact of processes on the environment, society, and business operations. This enables us to make better choices and to invest in improvements that truly make a difference.

The production process as a starting point

Within the ESG strategy, the production process is a key focus area. This aligns perfectly with our ambition to map our machines and production lines in even greater detail. The goal? To know precisely what our technology consumes and delivers – and to identify where improvements can be made.

As a reference project, we have fully mapped our 15-tons/hour French fry line. The complete line has been drawn out in detail, with each process step made transparent:

  • Which raw materials and energy go in
  • Which outputs and residual streams are generated
  • What ultimately comes out as the end product

Every step has been documented with visual diagrams and tables, ensuring data is captured clearly and comprehensively.

This analysis has resulted in an accurate mass balance and a clear overview of the energy-intensive steps and residual flows. The project therefore provides a valuable framework for further innovations, both internally and for our customers.

Valuable insights for customers

The insights from this reference project are of great value to our customers. Using these data, we can highlight where the greatest opportunities lie for improving sustainability and efficiency – such as identifying the most energy-intensive steps within the line.

For our customers, this means receiving a clear and explanatory overview of their processes. This enables them to make better decisions and to invest specifically in improvements that deliver real impact. It also helps them to meet their own ESG objectives or future CSRD obligations.

Stronger together towards a sustainable future

For Kiremko, analysing a single production line is just the beginning. We see this as an invitation to collaborate. Together with our customers, suppliers, and partners, we want to use the insights from this project to explore:

  • Where do you see the same opportunities?
  • How can we develop solutions that strengthen the entire chain?
  • What steps can we take together to make production processes even more sustainable?

The Fair Future program supports this mission. It provides a clear direction: sustainability as the foundation for continuity, innovation, and collaboration.

We show that we are not waiting but deliberately take action. For our customers, partners, employees and suppliers. Together we work towards a future that is fairer, more efficient, and more sustainable.

To a Fair Future.
