The vertical screw destoner combines destoning with the transport of potatoes.
The potatoes end up in a receiving hopper, which is partially filled with water. The lower part of the screw is immersed in water and its rotating movement attracts the potatoes. Because the stones sink to the bottom, these can easily be removed through the inspection hatch. The vertical screw destoner has a hydrodynamic bearing and is available in different capacities up to 50 tons per hour.
